Good north-south bus. Missing east-west link.
Chandler's Ford has a decent north-south bus spine. But if you live away from it, you're often stuck. We need a proper east-west link so people in Valley Park, Knightwood, North Baddesley, Hiltingbury, Velmore and Fryern can reach shops, schools, health services, the station and onward buses.

Proposed fix
Build a practical east-west bus link that feeds the existing north-south spine.
Progress: Gathering journey evidence
Public launch target: first 100 residents
The evidence base
- Problem
- Too many everyday trips across Chandler's Ford still need a car, a lift or a long detour.
- Evidence we already have
- Residents have identified repeated gaps between Valley Park, Knightwood, North Baddesley, Hiltingbury, Velmore, Fryern, the station and onward buses.
- Evidence still needed
- Journey examples, missed connections, frequency and reliability data, route-quality evidence and deliverable funding options.
- What residents can do
- Tell us the journey you cannot make today, including rough start and end points, time of day and what currently goes wrong.
